AAWEL´s integrated training programs

• Bi-annual teachers and women´s empowerment training with focus on critical and current issues facing girls and women in the schools and communities (education, gender training, nutrition and health (Malaria, HIV/AIDS and other preventable diseases, financial literacy, and leadership training).



• Sister-helping-sister program has three components:
  1- Literacy and academic support for formal girls.
  2- Literacy, financial and vocational trainings for non-formal school girls and women      (sewing, home economics, health education, IC, etc..)
  3- Cultural and sport components as out-of-school activities for both formal and      non-formal school girls.
  


• Creation of an inter-generational mentoring program for women in the communities (solidarity and counseling group for women facing social issues).
